Lillian is a Mexican American hailing from Texas who is currently pursuing a career in the arts. Alongside her journey of creating art Lillian shared with us her passion for creating a more inclusive and diverse theater community. Our R.Evolución Latina family was inspired by her passion, determination and desire to make this dream a reality. While sharing more of her story we got to see Doreen’s spirit of generosity, kindness and advocacy shine through Lillian’s words. We hope we can continue to be inspired by Lillian’s generosity and passion for the arts and for a new industry for many years to come.

Please join us in welcoming Lilian DeAndrea De Leon to the R.Evolución family. Our commitment to supporting Latinx, and BIPOC artists aligns with our mission and the expansion of inspiring others to become leaders of change. Out of these several applicants there were two finalists that stood out by showcasing Doreen’s talents, storytelling, and passion for the arts. We are proud to honor two additional artists who shared their artistry and truly honored Doreen in their work!

Please join us in congratulating Rebekkah Vega-Romero and Celeste Lanuza our 2023 ‘Do It Anyway’ Award Honorees!
