He has been recognized for several awards including the DRAMA DESK AWARD for the Off-Broadway hit Queen of the Night. As an educator, Matthew has taught students from all over the world, including through R.Evolucion Latina’s Beyond Workshop Series and Dare To Go Beyond Camp. He is currently on faculty with Broadway Dance Center.

Whether it is as a Camp River’s Bend counselor, singing with the Gsus Band at his church, or as a loving uncle to his six nieces and nephews, Matthew believes that service to others is of utmost importance in bringing our community together. Art can heal and bring us together, and  R.Evolucion Latina provides that opportunity to serve others and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
