Alejandro was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and moved to Miami in ‘99. After graduating from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, he was accepted into the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and began his Freshman fall semester in 2013. He studied Music Education and Music Business as a Classical Piano Principle and Voice Secondary. He graduated in the Spring of 2017 with extensive experience in K-12 music education, student teaching at the Elementary Level under Cynthia Kohanek. Incredible mentors and teachers include: Leonardo Curbelo (Piano), Ana Flavia Zuim (Accompanying/Musical Theatre Vocals), Francisco Padura (Acting), Leo Williams (Acting), John Rodaz (Acting), Matt Smart (Arranging/Orchestrating), Anthony Campisi (Music Directing/Accompanying), and Joseph Harrell (Voice). Throughout his time in college, he worked as a music director, teacher, and pianist. Before moving to New York, Alejandro completed over 25 conservatory level productions (Elementary – College), and 3 professional productions. Some favorite credits as Music Director include: Beauty and The Beast, Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors, CATS, Lion King, Frog and Toad.
