2011 HISTORY
We empowered 50 dancers and celebrated the Peruvian community. Honoring D1 Dance, we provided a venue for community building, and with the collaboration and partnership of Deutsche Bank, we accomplished a cultural exchange with Peruvian artists. As we saw our artists grow and expand their careers, opportunities for Peruvian artists to come back to NYC after showcasing their talent were created. The idea of GOING BEYOND outside of NYC was born.

- 4th Beyond Workshop Series Expanded dance with a performing goal. Expanded singing with more acting focus and a stronger process. Expanded classes with the ensemble workshop.
- Dare 2 Go Beyond Performing Arts Camp
- Kids Beyond Broadway saw “Home” Movie, Yellow Brick Road
- RL Choreographers Festival – Created our first-ever dance festival where we got to work and collaborate with various dancers, artists, and friends from our community
- Bold Girlz Fashion Show event

- White Noise, The Musical Collaboration students participated in the making of the show’s multimedia
- Pachamama Peruvian Arts Center open rehearsal and kids workshop
- Workshop and Panel at Roy Arias With Vania Masías and D1 Dance, from Perú
- Easter Bonnet Presentation with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
- Sunrise Camp With Katie’s Art Project
- Moved to our NEW office
- Supported Reconstruction of Homes Chincha, Perú
