A Life in the Performing Arts
Mary Ann Lamb was the assistant choreographer for Susan Misner and assistant choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler on the hit television FX series “Fosse/Verdon.” She also coached dance for the stars Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams. Most recently she worked on pre-production alongside choreographer Susie Misner on the Netflix series “Halston.” Last summer she choreographed Mamma Mia directed by Terrence Mann at Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Last season she choreographed the show Disaster for Connecticut Repertory Theater with Broadway director Jack Plotnick and star Seth Rudetsky. She danced on the VMA Awards 2019 in Taylor Swift ‘s opening number. As a performer, Mary Ann has performed in 11 Broadway shows. She played Young Claire in John Kander and Fred Ebb’s, The Visit, starring Chita Rivera. She danced in the films “Rock of Ages” and the Oscar award winning movie “Chicago.” On Broadway she played Mona Page in Curtains starring David Hyde Pierce and in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Curtains choreographed by JoAnn Hunter. Other Broadway credits include: Contact; Seussical; Fosse; Chicago; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; Jerome Robbins’ Broadway; Song and Dance; Goodbye Girl; Starlight Express; and Carrie.
