2026 BWS+ Schedule
Beyond Workshop Series+ (BWS+) is an extension of R.Evolución Latina’s renowned Beyond Workshop Series (BWS), designed to provide year-round training for artists who are committed to growth, exploration, and excellence in their craft.
Through a dynamic curriculum of dance, acting, voice, and professional development, BWS+ offers ongoing classes that foster technique, artistry, and community. Led by industry professionals from Broadway and beyond, these sessions create a safe space for artists to push boundaries, refine their skills, and connect with like-minded creatives.
BWS+ is open to all performers eager to train, collaborate, and be inspired while reinforcing the core values of R.Evolución Latina: dare to go beyond, empower through the arts, and give back to the community. Whether you’re a BWS alum or a new artist looking to grow, BWS+ invites you to continue your journey of learning and artistic discovery.

Theatre Dance with William Carlos Angulo

William Carlos Angulo (he/him) is a director, choreographer, and playwright of Bolivian descent based in New York. His work centers the creation of culture, using music and dance to explore, express, and celebrate third-culture identity.
He is currently co-creating two new pieces: a musical, OUT THERE (commissioned by Portland Center Stage and supported by The Lortel) and a play with music, DAVID & THE APOCALYPSE (commissioned by Borderlands Arts and supported by The UrbanX and The Mercury Store). He has directed new plays and musical readings presented at LCT3, the Steppenwolf LookOut Series, the JAW New Play Festival, Ars Nova ANT Fest, and Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.
Favorite directing credits include IN THE HEIGHTS (Theatre Under The Stars; The MUNY), a revisionist SOUTH PACIFIC (The MUNY), SEUSSICAL (Marriott Theatre), BERNARDA ALBA (Syracuse University), and NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 (NYU Tisch). Favorite choreography credits include HERE LIES LOVE (Center Theatre Group), DESTINY OF DESIRE (Denver Center, Center Theatre Group), FALSETTOS (Court Theatre; TimeLine Theatre Company), LUCHA TEOTL (Goodman Theatre), HELLO, DOLLY! (Ogunquit Playhouse), POOR YELLA REDNECKS (Manhattan Theatre Club), PRESENCIA (The Bushwick Starr, ¡Oye! Group, and The Sol Project), and ON YOUR FEET! and LEGALLY BLONDE (The Muny).
He choreographed MAY WE ALL in Nashville, where he collaborated with country recording artists including Breland, LOCASH, and Florida Georgia Line. His viral LEGALLY BLONDE choreography has been hashtagged more than 17 million times across TikTok and Instagram.
Passionate about education and mentorship, William co-founded the musical theatre program at Goodman Theatre, was an original instructor for Broadway Across Borders, and formerly served as Director of Education at Dance Lab New York. He has served as a guest artist at The Juilliard School, New York University, Northwestern University, and beyond.
William is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and the Alliance of Latinx Theatre Artists (ALTA). He is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Borderlands Arts.

Vocal Salon with Manny Vidales

Having recently moved to New York City he has collaborated on several new musical workshops and premiers such as: ‘Macbeth In Stride’ by Whitney White, ‘Shesus’ by John Leguizamo, ‘The Amazing Mr. X’, and the Disney Theatrical Group. He has also enjoyed getting to work with Tony Award Winning production teams on the US premier of ‘Mythic’, directed by Kathleen Marshall, ‘In The Mood’ and ‘Trading Places’ with Director Kenny Leon, and ‘The Blasters Handbook’ directed by Christopher Ashley.
Very soon Manny will work as a Teaching Artist at New York City Center this Fall. He is also the recipient of 2024-2026 MUSE mentorship class, and the ARTS IGNITE/BMEP 2025 class. He actively plays for studio classes, Actors Therapy, Broadway auditions, Marymount College, NYU, and is the current Music Director for TADA! Youth Ensemble in lower Manhattan.
