2026 BWS+ Schedule

Beyond Workshop Series+ (BWS+) is an extension of R.Evolución Latina’s renowned Beyond Workshop Series (BWS), designed to provide year-round training for artists who are committed to growth, exploration, and excellence in their craft.

Through a dynamic curriculum of dance, acting, voice, and professional development, BWS+ offers ongoing classes that foster technique, artistry, and community. Led by industry professionals from Broadway and beyond, these sessions create a safe space for artists to push boundaries, refine their skills, and connect with like-minded creatives.

BWS+ is open to all performers eager to train, collaborate, and be inspired while reinforcing the core values of R.Evolución Latina: dare to go beyond, empower through the arts, and give back to the community. Whether you’re a BWS alum or a new artist looking to grow, BWS+ invites you to continue your journey of learning and artistic discovery.

Contemporary Dance Workshop with Jesus Velasco Mondragón

Join us for a special INTERNATIONAL BWS+ workshop in collaboration with The Familia!

Hailing from Mexico, Jesús is an international choreographer, dancer and stage director who has worked with dance companies, cultural institutions, and theatrical productions, contributing to the preservation of Mexican traditions while pushing them into contemporary artistic spaces.

Class will explore movement, evolving into phrase work highlighting cultural identity while experimenting with storytelling. Focusing on themes of heritage, community, and social expression combined with precise technique and expressive movement, this class is one NOT TO MISS!

The Familia, is an organization founded by Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca, created to foster community and artistic opportunities for Latine and Immigrant artists.

Theatre Dance with Natalia Nieves

Get ready to visit HADESTOWN with Natalia Nieves Theatre Dance! This class will start with a warmup and then an exciting combo that will challenge you to tell a story AND connect with the community around you. Check out Natalia's bio to learn more about her.

Natalia Nieves-Melchor is a New York–based dancer, performer, and creative with over a decade of professional experience. A graduate of Pace University’s Commercial Dance program, her work spans musical theatre, commercial, and live performance.

She has performed at theaters across the country, including The Muny, Paper Mill Playhouse, The Old Globe, and The Lyric Opera, and has also worked as an assistant and associate choreographer for many choreographers, including our own Luis Salgado. Originally from Puerto Rico, Natalia brings a strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and cultural expression into her work.

As a teacher, she leads high-energy, supportive classes that blend technique, musicality, and grounded movement.

Vocal Salon with Natalie Wilson

It's time to work on that technique again.
Natalie Wilson is BACK for this month's vocal salon. If you've worked with Natalie in the past, you know how her collaboration can take your songs to the next level. We can't wait for this workshop!
Natalie Wilson (she/her) is a voice teacher with over 30 years of experience, training performers who have gone on to work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, and regional theaters across the country. A former opera singer, she blends traditional bel canto technique with modern voice science to help singers meet the demands of a professional musical theatre career with ease and sustainability.

Natalie is on faculty at Circle in the Square Theatre School and leads her masterclass series, From Studio to Stage, connecting artists with top industry professionals. She is passionate about accessible, inclusive training and works with both professionals and singers of all levels.
