Bountiful

A magical piece that leads you through the journey of
what the Human spirit experiences in a single day,

from responsibility, fears, and fights to the joy, love, inspiration and fire that reminds you how bountiful life is.

BOUNTIFUL, 8 performances  choreographed by Rebecca Tomas, Matthew Steffens, Daniel Fetecua-Soto, Amanda Turner, Valeria Cossu, Rickey Tripp and Vania Masias and directed Luis Salgado left audiences at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center on April 27th- May 1st, 2016  feeling uplifted, joyful and walking out of the theatre ready to live a BOUNTIFUL life.

What is BOUNTIFUL ?

A relevant piece at the present time when we collectively need to pay more attention, be more aware of each other and of the LIFE around us.Through the journey of a teacher, Santiago questions are asked, as he is affected by the realities of the current social / political issues and the needs of his students.  Each of his students need something from him to go forward in life and as our work at RL has shown us, when we give we always learn something.  We have to be open to the process and the present time and not get stuck in the past or thinking of a future that might not come. LOVING NOW, SUPPORTING NOW, DOING NOW and BEING BETTER NOW is all we can do, one day at a time.

“I was very moved by the  Bountiful. Revolution Latina has brought together young dancers from all over Latin America  and the US and paired them with some of the finest choreographers to create an entertaining, powerful and meaningful evening of dance. What a heroic undertaking by Luis Salgado and his team. Bravo!!!!”
