This virtual event had the participation of 21 fundraisers, 9 choreographers, over 57 dancers, editors, videographers, voice over artists, hosts, community leaders from Ballet Hispánico, Limón Dance, Pregones Theatre and more.
We are so grateful to everyone that said YES to this project. Currently we have 636 views on YouTube which means more people than ever were able to be part of this event thanks to the Zoom experience.

- Starting one week after the shutdown of Broadway, sports, schools and businesses, RL sprung into action recruiting 22 teaching artists to relieve the stress and uplift hearts by providing 52 dance classes and 20 Shakespeare classes in 6 weeks, free of charge to 620 adult students. Creating our first online adult education program.
- The 13th Annual D2GB Children’s Performing Arts Camp goes Virtual! As always our family of artists from Broadway and the Latinx community stepped up to make this one of the most impactful camps even in this unique platform serving over 250 children from 9 different countries.
- We made it a priority to reallocate the funds that we had for our in person programming to support our teaching artists that have supported RL over the past 13 years.
- During the last 6 months, we found ways to connect and share with our communities through a series of Industry nights and a special collaboration with Broadway World Spain’s Entres Cafes.
- Like many organizations, companies and businesses we lost a large amount of our yearly funding during this unprecedented time but even after the loss of $100,000 we became more united and richer in our art, community and hearts.
