Beyond Workshop Series Students are back!
R.Evolución Latina received an invitation to collaborate with Community Works, an organization with a mission to bridge schools and communities, enrich educational curricula and celebrate neighborhood cultures and histories.
On April 17th, the Beyond Workshop Series students (Dance, Shakespeare and Vocal Ensemble) joined the D2GB School Arts program to empower a group of 75 kids and youth. This event was at the Dwyer Cultural Center, a multimedia destination dedicated to preserving, celebrating and documenting Harlem’s history and traditions.
R.Evolución Latina presented a show directed by Luis Salgado with the concepts of integration, community, heritage and our motto of daring to go beyond. RL’s artists brought our DARE TO GO BEYOND motto through music and dance to children and parents participating in the program at Madame Tussauds on 42nd Street.
Kids’ Night on Broadway is a national audience development program of The Broadway League, where young people age 6-18 can see a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
