In January of 2010, I had just returned to NYC from Europe. I was pursuing modeling and was getting discouraged. I received a message inviting me to audition for R.Evolución Latina’s dance workshop series. I auditioned, was accepted, and there began my journey. Since 2010, I have participated in the Beyond Workshop Series 21010/11, Easter Bonnet Competitions 2010/11, the 2010 Evening of Celebration, the RL Summer Children’s Camp 2010/11, and the 2011 Choreographer’s Festival. Since the Beyond Workshop Series I have booked several jobs including: Beyonce’s Best Thing I Never Had music video, Fashion’s Night Out With Joss Stone, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion with Nicki Minaj, BOOMNYC with Jessica Sutta (of the Pussycat Dolls) as well as jobs for Nike, Moncler, Coach and several other clients. I am now teaching regularly at East Side Community High School in the LES and at Greenwich Dance Studios. I am continually inspired as an artist, teacher, and individual by RL and it’s influence on me is a testament to the power and success of it’s mission. R.Evolución Latina truly does EMPOWER, and I am very grateful to be a member of its strong, beautiful, and dedicated community.
